You heard a thump behind you but didn't bother to look back, instead you kept your eyes on The Master aka your brother, he had been trying to get you out for a while but he always seemed to get spotted before he had the chance to even unlock the cage, thankfully though he was never caught, but now he was sure that this would work.
"You may want to stand back" he suggested as he produced something from his pocket, it was a laser screwdriver, you saw him use one of those before when you were both little, but on another planet as you had gotten here a few months ago.
"Are you sure you managed to plot an escape this time?" you asked almost sarcastically, part of you had given up on escaping this nightmare, but your brother was always the one to never give up, he learned that from experience as he had told you about what he had done in the past and how another Time Lord had stopped him, but he never told you who it was.
"We are going to need the Doctor for this as he has the only means of escape so are you going to carry him or shall I?"
You looked back and sure enough the man was still unconscious, holding back a frustrated sigh you picked him up with your creatures strength and slung him over your shoulder like a sack of potato while trying to avoid scratching him with your claws. You then stood a good distance back from the cage door and waited for your brother to open the lock.
The Master pointed the laser at the lock and activated it, there was a low drone coming from it before he turned it off and went to double check the lock, it seemed to have done something but obviously not enough, growling slightly he quickly checked the lock and electric box next to it, his hands were a blur, like the Doctor's when he pressed levers in his TARDIS.
BEEP! CLICK! the door opened with ease "quickly now" he ushered you with his hand "it won't be long till the alarm goes off and I have to find the Doctor's ship" he looked around to double check no one was there.
Not wasting time you quickly got out of the cage and followed The Master out of the room, neither of you looked back to what was once your prison.

(Your P.O.V)
I was not surprised when I went through a lot of twists and turns, it was what I always saw when I tried to fight them when they had forced me to breed with other creatures and themselves, it made me sick.
The Master skidded to a halt when he came to a plain, simple door, I nearly skidded into his back it was that sudden.
"Please let it be in here" he whispered mostly to himself.
"How would you know where it would be hiding?" I asked him.
"I saw them move it here but I cannot say for sure if they have moved it again" he replied as he began to fiddle with the keyboard.
"Why do we need to get his ship anyway? Isn't there another means of transportation?" I asked while slightly shifting the Doctor on my shoulder.
"The enemy only have transport to get to another location on this planet, The Doctor has the only means of actually getting off the planet, I'll explain later" he mumbled slightly under his breath "come on, come...gotcha" he nearly cried out with happiness.
He quickly opened the door and ran in while holding onto me arm thus nearly pulling it out in the process. We came face to face with a blue box with the words police written on it.
Now I wasn't stupid, I knew what it really was and that it was a whole lot bigger on the inside than it was on the outside. And that it can open another way instead of having to use a key.
My brother opened the door with the keys he had found somewhere and all three of us ran inside, I quickly but carefully placed The Doctor on the floor as my brother closed the doors before proceeding to the console.
"All right tin can, I know you don't like me after what I've done, but just this once can we put our differences aside so we can help The Doctor because if we stay we will all die, do you want that?" he said to the center console.
I knew the TARDIS had a mind of its own but I didn't expect it to respond so quickly because of what my brother did to it, half the time he looked proud at what he had done, but there were times when he eyes held a hint of sadness and regret.
"Yes, I promise to only use the ones we need to leave, you have my word"
I was so deep in thought I almost missed my brother talking as well as the warning humming noise coming from the roof of the TARDIS, at least I think it was a warning noise. I watched as my brother began to run around the console and pressing the buttons and levers necessary to get us away from here.
"Okay then sis, I need you to take him into his room, the TARDIS should hopefully not give you any trouble, I'll take us into the Vortex and wait until he has come round" he instructed me.
"Okay then" I moved to carry the Doctor bridle style "oh I almost forgot, the Doctor gave me a name" I nearly forgot about that.
"What did he call you?" he asked.
"(y/n)"
My brother tried the name through his lips, then he smiled at me for the first time since I had been held captive "for once I am glad he did, it suits you, I know I would never have given you that, I think I prefer calling you sis though"
After he had given me the instructions for the doctor's room I left the main room with a smile and blush on my cheeks, surprisingly it didn't take me long to find his room, I thanked the TARDIS and was shocked when I felt a gently hum in my mind, and something else as well, it made me feel...happy? Sad? I couldn't tell but I knew that it was a good feeling.
I then realized that the Doctor was beginning to stir since his fingers were now starting to twitch and the occasional moan would escape his lips every now and then, I gently placed him onto the bed and removed his overcoat (since he had put it back on from when they were both in prison), pulled the covers to his knees then left the room without a backward glance, I needed to keep an eye on my brother in case he tries to do anything funny, he was just as unpredictable as I was.

The Doctor groaned as he felt light warm his face, wait warmth? He shot up and instantly regretted it as he gently laid back down, it took a moment for him to realise that he was in his bedroom, one that he never used unless he had just regenerated and needed the sleep, which was very rare.
He remembered talking to (y/n), then some how hurt her or insulted her and then, blank, what was it that made him black out? (he refused to think of it as fainting).
Then he shot up again and got off of the bed, not even noticing that his headache was back with vengeance, the Master was back, the Master was outside the cage talking to (y/n) as if they were family, but that was impossible, the Master didn't have a family back on Gallifrey.
Quickly opening his door he ran as fast as he could back to the main control room, then he came across muffled talking, even his sensitive hearing was having a hard time trying to understand what was being said then he realised that they were speaking Gallifrey. Why would they be speaking that language when he was a Time Lord himself? For goodness sake even his people were stupid at times.
Instead of listening to what they were talking about he decided to do the more rational thing, walk in to interrupt them and ask what the heck happened.
The noises stopped the moment they could hear the footsteps, the other Time Lord (Lady) turned to see that the doctor had indeed woken up and now had a serious face, neither knew what to say.
The Master was the first to speak "Hello doctor, did you miss me?"
(y/n) had to stop herself from snickering, her brother really knew how to break the tension while being scary at the same time.
It took all of the doctor's will power not to go pale and black out again "how did you escape?" he could feel his voice quiver slightly when he was supposed to sound serious.
The Master didn't look threatened "is that anyway to thank the people who just saved your Time Lord butt?"
"And a cute one at that" she teased, before she realised what she had just said.
The Doctor blushed "not you too" he whined "and here I thought you would be more mature than him"
"When you have been around him for awhile it tends to grow on you"
"Kind of like you always hanging around with the monkey folk"
"They are Homosapians AKA humans Master" The Doctor growled.
"Aw how cute The Doctor knows how to growl, now hiss like a kitten" The Master urged with excitement on his face.
(y/n) smacked her brother on the arm "be nice brother" she turned to the Doctor "I know you aren't exactly happy with us touching the TARDIS, but unless you wanted to be stuck as a prisoner on that forsaken planet" she trailed off when she noticed the Master touching the console "brother remember what you promised" she warned.
"It's just a pile of pieces what can she OUCH!" he jumped away and kissed his fingers as the TARDIS had zapped him for calling her a pile of pieces.
(y/n) just shook her head before turning to the Doctor "if you prefer us to get off then feel free to find a planet for us to stay on, you wont have to worry about us any longer"
"Um, actually I want to apologies for what I did before, you know breaking my promise" he trailed off uncomfortably.
(y/n) realised what he was talking about "oh right, you nearly suffocating me, well could you please tell me why you did that before I accept your apology?"
This made the Doctor freeze for a split second before he continued, then he realised that the Master was still in the room.
The Master who had been watching them both just walked away while waving a hand as he left "don't worry about me I'm going, I would like to have a look at this TARDIS that you stole years ago" then he disappeared from the room.
The air around the two aliens was so tense you could cut a knife through it, The Doctor was the first to speak "the reason as to why I freaked out was because" he froze before he took a deep breath, he really hated talking about his past but the other part of him just didn't want to loose this beautiful creature or out of his sight "what you were referring to was the time war, the planet Gallifrey was lost in order to get rid of the Daleks, I was the only surviving Time Lord left" he said softly.

(Your P.O.V)
"So why do I have them? I don't think I would have been there when it happened, I am only 50 years old" you nearly scoffed.
"That was what I wanted to find out, I always keep my word (y/n) so whenever you feel up to it, let me know and then I can get the TARDIS to do a scan for you, then we can see what race you are and to see if you really are a Time Lady" he finished seriously.
Looking into his eyes you could tell that he was dead serious about what he was talking about, that was the kind of man you appreciated, but that didn't mean you were going to trust him completely "apology accepted" you shook his hand "I better go find that brother of mine before he causes you more trouble" CRASH! spoke too soon.
"Are you really his brother?" the Doctor asked as he lead you to the crashing sound.
"No we are not related, brother was the only one back at that base who actually looked after me when they were all don with their experiments" you shrug your shoulders "I guess you can say that the creature inside of me considered him a part of my group so I didn't have to worry about chewing him to bits when he tried to clean my cuts"
"Speaking of cuts I am going to need to sort you out" he gestured to all of your body.
You suddenly feel self conscious "do you mind if I let my brother sort me out?"
The Doctor wanted to object but suddenly realised that if he tried to push things he may make them worse "as long as I can show where you can get sorted out"
"Fair enough, brother always told me about a TARDIS and what they could do, but I have never seen one before or even on the inside" you almost lost your footing as you felt a rush or wave of something over you "what was that?" another wave but this time it sounded...sad, and warming at the same time, you gasped as you felt this new sensation swell inside you, so much pain, so much loss, it felt exactly how you felt when you were stuck inside that stupid cage, but you didn't cry, your face only showed sadness and shock as if you were having a horrible flashback.
The Doctor looked at you and realised what had just happened "can you hear it? Can you here the sadness she carries and sings every day and night?"
You look at him in disbelief "you mean that this feeling is the TARDIS?" Now you were starting to feel as if you were floating.
The Doctor nodded "it is strange though, she has never warmed up to someone in a matter of minutes, or seconds, maybe she knows what you went through and is trying to make you understand that she feels the same pain you do" he didn't realise that he was stalling to get to the Master and that he was talking to himself.
You wanted to smack him but the sensation you were getting from the TARDIS was stopping you from doing anything, all you could do was shuffle your way toward the sound that your brother made.
The Doctor realised that you were trying to continue walking with little success since you were leaning forward as if gasping for breath, so he calmly walked towards you and placed a hand on your back and rubbed it, hoping that you knew what he was trying to say.

(Your P.O.V)
I wanted to flinch from the contact, but at the moment I didn't care since it was the only thing anchoring me to the ground and not floating around like a balloon.
So I just stood there and allowed the one person I still felt uncomfortable with rub my back as he tried to keep me from going insane like my brother, because if I remember from what my brother had said before correctly, if you were not used to or had never been connected to a TARDIS before, whether a human or Time Lord, you would risk a chance of going insane.
I really don't know what I am doing with this part, in case you are confused, the TARDIS has connected herself to you the same way she has done with the Doctor, you can hear the Universe through her, your time lord info will be up in the next chapter.
Enjoy
